Our love for wedding planning stemmed from working in the wedding industry and observing that the challenges presented to us when we got married many moons ago, hadn’t changed.
Based in Leicestershire Niche Weddings & Events is headed up by Nisha & Kam Mistry, offering a luxury wedding & event planning experience. Our team work with you to focus on the intricacies, attention to all the detail to create a flawless event.
Nisha’s creativity and passion for all things floral allows her to develop fresh concepts and exquisite designs, portraying the clients she works with.
Kam compliments Nisha as they focus on your to dos as you embark on your I dos. Kam with his background in project management delivers a high end planning service, executing the bespoke design journey. It’s about bringing your personality to the forefront of your event with beautiful settings, flamboyant designs and only the best hand picked suppliers.
Between the two of them they have in excess of 20 years wedding industry experience.
Nisha’s passion for arranging flowers began as a little girl watching her father putting together his garden borders and watching him create arrangements for Asian ceremonies.
Getting married young and watching Kam being involved in the wedding industry, Nisha quickly realised that nothing can come close to adding that special magic to a day, than your wedding flowers. The intricacies and detail in the design from invitation to reception décor, is all about the clients vision and the ability to deliver and exceed expectations.
Watching their mum spending time on what was a hobby, their charming trio turned their hand to flowers too. At the age of 13 Himani decided that she would start her business idea of offering exquisite fresh florals to the wedding industry within Leicestershire. It quickly evolved to high end faux options and now the team blend the requirements of our clients offering faux and fresh options in a range of products.
Teaming up with Himani is her older sister Shivani and younger sister Sakshi. Shivani is our colour queen! Whether it be fashion, cosmetics or florals her eye for detail and combinations assists our couples in the design process. Sakshi is our graphics guru! She takes the hand gestures, verbalising of concepts which our couples come to us with and working with the team, she then comes up with the design board.
Being from an Asian background understanding the need for ceremony florals, Niche embarked on the journey offering sophisticated, bespoke and non-traditional designs. Seeing the delight on a bride’s face when you deliver her wedding garlands, hair flowers or bouquet is such a rewarding moment. When she walks into her ceremony room for the first time; reactions of the couple on entering their reception room is one of the most magical experiences, with it motivating us to design distinguishing concepts and designs.
Having the ability to transfer the creative skills from floral design to event management and design has bought this couple more closer than ever...their flare for all things Weddings is definitely showcased in all that they offer.
The client centred approach is definitely a distinct feature of this couples business model and is demonstrated by all those in the team.
